Bike Shop
Walking into a bike shop does not absolutely need to be
something that is intimidating, but for many people, it definitely is.
There are a few reasons why. They include:
• New to riding – Many people experience some kind of trepidation
when coming into a bike shop because they may not be completely aware
about what they need to ask about. Beginners have problems even asking
something simple because they just do not know where to start.
People who are new to riding sophisticated bikes might try to avoid
employees or try to figure out things for themselves. This is probably
not wise, especially because there are a number of people who are employed
that could actually help the beginner.
• Low cash flow – It is a fact that you can buy a decent
used car for less than it costs to buy some of the nicer bikes. Some
people tend to think that because some bikes are expensive that every
bike in the bike shop will be expensive. This is typically not true.
Most quality bike shops will include a variety of bikes that could be
expensive or cheaper.
Some people who are unable to get over these fears end up getting bikes
that they do not really want because their inexperience and their lack
of money make them embarrassed to approach people in bike shops will
choose to instead do their shopping on the phone or online. This could
be an effective way to shop, but however it is beneficial when you look
for bikes at a bike shop, because it is always good to get feedback
from professionals.
